Which comes first for you--the movie or the book? I always recommend reading the book first. Once you see the movie, it's hard to imagine the characters and settings being DIFFERENT from the movie version. Also, it can be interesting to read the book first and then see how the director chose to add, alter or remove certain aspects from the final film version. Here are some titles that you might consider...before you watch the movie version.!
How can you make your lunchtime even more amazing? Pick up a book! The librarians have temporarily parked a "free books" cart outside of 7C1. Anyone in the building is welcome to enjoy a free book. If you are looking for something specific or a recommendation of a book to borrow, come see us in the library!
We've been celebrating National Reading Month and Read Across America Day (March 2) and wanted to honor the many awesome students who have gotten *caught* reading in our library!
Do you see any titles in these photos that look interesting? Stop by the library and we can always help you find a great book (or ebook...or magazine...or DVD) to borrow and devour. We would *love* to catch you reading! |
